Time for Messy Church again Tuesday October 4th

Jesus said 'I am the True Vine' - that's the subject we will be tackling later, with grapes and paints a plenty.  I will try and post later what happened and add a few pictures - so you can see the fun we have.

Messy Church

Wow what fun we had, more vegetable creations, icing on biscuits, marzipan fruits, all to celebrate God's wonderful world.  I especially liked the fish fingers yumy!!!

Open The Book

At St Clements this morning the OTB team dramatised the blind man, who Jesus healed on the Sabbath.  We chose a lad who happened to be wearing glasses to play the part of the blind man, he pointed out to me, that he wasn't really blind... 

The assembly went fairly well and the children seemed to enjoy it.  I am sure they will really like next week as it is all about Parties - need to find out my party hat!!

Off to Claines later to do a lesson all about prayer - I wonder where the discussion will end up this year...

Vegetable animals

We had a great time at Nice Age this evening, making animals out of vegetables.  The children really got involved and were very creative - photos will be posted soon. Such a great idea (even if I do say so myself) to illustrate Daniel and his friends who would not eat the King's Pork - as told in Daniel 3.

Assembly at Claines

Lookong forward to my assembly today - all about compassion.  I get 3 children from Yr1, & Yr2 for 30mins before lunch to work on an assembly, which we then perform to the whole school after lunch, seat of your pants stuff today...

Assignment

Well it's time to be getting on with the assignment 3000 words all about past Christian endeavours.  Sat here surrounded by books and just like at school easily distracted....
